Celebrating M. Cargaleiro’s eighty years, the Museum opens a temporary exhibition with seven ceramic panels made at Vietri Sul Mare, Italy, in 2006, which are a surprising proposal for ceramic intervention in architecture. Starting with modules of abstract volumes, Cargaleiro composes a variety of high relieves, revealing the unlimited possibilities of ceramics as an artistic value.
Exemplary, at eighty, Manuel Cargaleiro stands, through these panels, to the tradition of centuries as to the contemporariness of tiles.
