Using what we might name surplus products or, perhaps, with greater accuracy , the waste of industrial tile production of the sixties, seventies and eighties, two young designers, Rita João and Pedro Ferreira, present, through this project Grão, central questions of contemporary society: what to do with the products that are constantly put on the market and that people no longer have the ability or the appetite to consume – a problem that lead us to environmental concerns about the ways we are changing the world. The exhibition is constituted by tile panels recovered from extinguished industrial production lines.
