For about two months we have been "online" with you. We received a lot of generous, interesting, captivating, creative contributions. Our team thank you for that! You reminded us of another way of looking at what we do.

Now, starting on Monday, the 18th, we will be able to receive you again in our spaces, although, for now, with limitations that ensure compliance with the Health Plan for Risk Prevention of the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage and following the recommendations of the Directorate-General for Health.


New schedule: Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 am to 4 pm;

The National Tile Museum is associated with the celebrations of the International Museum Day and will be exceptionally open next Monday, May 18th, the date of its reopening. Admission is free on this day.


Access conditions:

  • - Only up to 50 people can stay in the museum at the same time;

  • - Each visitor can only stay in the museum for a maximum period of 1 hour;

  • - It is mandatory to bring and use your own mask, without which entry will not be

  • possible;

  • - The minimum distance of two meters between non-cohabiting people must be

  • respected;

  • - Card payments are only possible (it is not possible to do it in cash);

  • - The elevator is only accessible for visitors with mobility limitations;

  • - Museum services (store and library) will have access limitations;

  • - The reopening of the Restaurant of Museu Nacional do Azulejo will take place later.
